Hindu Gods and Goddesses
In Hinduism, the primary hierarchy of gods is considered the “Trimurti,” consisting of Brahma as the creator, Vishnu as the preserver, and Shiva as the destroyer, with each playing a crucial role in the cosmic cycle; while some traditions may consider Vishnu as the supreme deity due to his role as the protector, the Trimurti is generally seen as an equal trinity.
Brahma
Responsible for creating the universe and all living beings, often depicted with four heads symbolizing knowledge and intellect.
Vishnu
Considered the protector and sustainer of the universe, often incarnating himself in different forms like Krishna and Rama to maintain cosmic balance.

Shiva
Represents the force of destruction, necessary for renewal and regeneration, often depicted as a powerful dancer.
Saraswati
Goddess of knowledge and the art and embodies the wisdom of Devi. Saraswati is the river of consciousness that enlivens creation; Saraswati is the dawn-goddess whose rays dispel the darkness of ignorance. Without Saraswati there is only chaos and confusion. To realize her one must go beyond the pleasures of the senses and rejoice in the serenity of the spirit.
