Delivery time will vary depending on your delivery address and if the item you ordered is in stock or if it needs to be custom made.

Delivery is to your front door only; we do not deliver any freight to the inside of your home. For heavier statues and items deliveries usually require a tail lift/pallet truck service which incurs extra charges. They will deliver the crate to the accessible driveway point closest to your front door.
Some very remote areas may take a little longer and incur additional charges which we will confirm before processing your order. If the delivery driveway has any obstacles that would prevent the truck from making the delivery there may be extra charges if the freight company is not able to deliver the items.
It is important to establish all the delivery details carefully before ordering because if a failed delivery requires redelivery any extra costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

For heavier, large statues and items, a custom wooden crate with pallet is built around the item securing it safely for transport. We do not charge any extra for this specialized crate packaging. The delivery charge we quote will include insurance and the tail lift/pallet truck fee if required.
Alternatively, we encourage customers to organise and pay for their own freight and insurance; in these cases, we will load your safely crated items onto the delivery truck of your choice at our premises free of charge.
Java Lava offers our customers free loading at our premises.
Please look over the crate carefully at the time of the delivery and take pictures of any damage to the crate and make note of this on the delivery document before taking pictures of the document and before signing for the goods. Without these pictures and record of damage any insurance claim may be refused.
Please report any damages to us immediately so we can action the quickest resolution to any complaint or claim.
Java Lava Stone and the freight company making the delivery are not responsible for unpacking the statue and placing it in your home or garden. If the item is heavy, we recommend hiring a general contractor, landscaper or gardener familiar with unpacking, lifting and positioning heavy items. Usually, manpower and a heavy-duty sack truck are sufficient to safely move these objects into position, but for very heavy items, cranes or forklifts may be required.
Please keep all the packaging materials until such time that you are completely satisfied with the items delivered condition. You may also like to number each wooden piece of the packaging as you disassemble and flat pack store it, so it can be easily reassembled around the statue for future transport.
